This app is complete. It has everything you need to buildup your vocabulary and learn new words. With every new word, there are audio,picture, fun story, example, synonym, antonym, uses, and you can record your voice to match the words pronunciation ! Moreover, there are 4 type of quizzes that can make your memorize the words and remember it. It is well worth the money and the only reason some people dont utilize it is that people, me included, are too lazy to learn! But never again.

I wanted to build up my vocab since many years ago but had to wait when I had time. It is now. I want to read but also want to write. This one makes you learn and remember how to use it and its spelling. Each word is associated with a funny cartoon, the use in sentences, etc. It shows the developers intelligence and their being extremely thoughtful. I cannot wait for their next product.

I cant thank enough for these apps! This is what Ive been looking for. I will give you 6 stars if you add accent marks in order to practice pronunciation. Haha

Some bad moments

Most people use iPads in landscape because it is much more comfortable to prop it up on the folded Smart Cover than to hold the device in portrait. But this app only runs in portrait on iPad, making it very inconvenient for iPad use. For example, my exercise bike allows me to use my iPad in landscape, but does not hold it properly in portrait. Developers: Please add landscape orientation support as soon as possible.

The best SAT vocab-learning app Ive ever used. I learned new words at an incredibly fast past, faster than I thought I would learn, and faster than just using flash cards. The exercises help students learn in all different ways! I recommend this app to everyone to use, its a wonderful investment to learn words not just for the SAT, but for everyday use. I feel so much more prepared for the CR section, and more knowledgable in general! Thanks Knowji!

This app is almost too good to be true; its easily worth twice this price. We homeschool our 11 year old son and purchased this app because of its audio components so that our son can learn correct pronunciation. For kids learning new vocabulary, hearing correct pronunciation really is essential. Both my son and I are very visual learners and the interesting picture aids are extremely helpful. We now use this app as our 6th graders complete vocabulary curriculum which supplements his language arts program and aids in his writing assignments (he gets extra credit if he includes a vocab word from the list hes working on in his paper). Its so much fun that I plan to use it when Im waiting at the doctors office or running errands. I cant recommend this app highly enough. And oh, did I mention that a native English speaking tech support person located in Palo Alto, actually called me and helped me adjust my iPads settings correctly when I had a problem? Since when does a ten dollar app come with free awesome tech support?! Unbelievable.

Great App! User friendly, easy to use, has been a very helpful tool to brush up on vocabulary skills.

English is my second Lang. I love this app. I learn new words a lot faster and I actually enjoying it! :) this one is the best one by far!

This is a very good app and Ive learned so much so far. My purpose for using this app is to build my vocabulary in preparing for the asvab. I believe this well help me alot and its proven so far. Thanks!
